More then 45 years ago I started breeding English Cockers Spaniels.

After 1982 under the name “Temple’s Knight” I have been breeding and showing American Cockers Spaniels.

 

With some success I breed and presented many American Cockers  in competitions and carried out the championship for more than 50 dogs.

 

Also for some years I breed and showed some Afghans and Whippets.

In 1989 with some others breeders, we founded the Portuguese Spaniel Club where I stayed as president for several years. During this period I was also involved in foundation and in direction of the Portuguese Sighthound Club “APGOIC”.

 

Now I m vice-president of Portuguese Kennel Club.

 

I’m breeding and showing Pointers under the name of “Vale Carvoeiro”, achieving excelent results around the world.

 

I am F.C.I. judge since 1995 and as all rounder, I judged nationals, international and breed specials shows in many European countries, and in USA, Canada, Brazil, India, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Peru, México, South Africa, Kenia, Australia, New Zealand, Philipines,…
